Our Leadership and Development Team
Sheila Connor is the President of Guiding Leaders and Teams, a Seattle-based nationally recognized, and respected consulting group. She is a versatile and effective
communication professional with expertise in executive coaching and team development, change and stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills training specializing in emotional intelligence. Throughout her thirty-five years of consulting, Sheila has viewed the strategic development of human capability as the critical factor in driving organizational success.
Working collaboratively with clients as partners, she has participated in designing and delivering leadership and strategy development retreats and trainings to over 15,000
people. Her designs for organizational interventions have been used throughout the United States and Canada, China, Denmark, England, Egypt, Korea, Malaysia, Russia and Scotland. She frequently conducts team retreats and on-site meetings for multinational corporations, government agencies, and educational institutions. She has been acknowledged for her ability to build the capacity of successful people into successful leaders through her active executive leadership coaching practice.
Sheila’s network of colleagues in leadership consulting is vast. She works regularly in partnership with the founders Anne Reeve of The Red Rock Consultancy, Amy Brown of SoDo Consulting, and Corrie Weikle of Corrie and Co.
Colleen Mariotti is the Director of Business Development. She has been working with Sheila for more than 20 years and serves every client with dedication and a personal touch. Colleen leads the online presence for GLT across channels. She also works diligently to help with the design and delivery of new industry frameworks and concepts that keep GLT on the cutting edge of leader development. From planning on-site events to managing the editorial and business calendar, Colleen works to support GLT at all levels. Sheila and Colleen are a team that welcomes a challenge and will meet you wherever you are on your personal development journey and expand your capacity to grow and lead in today’s world.
